UNION STATION
Great American Beaux-Arts style station in Chicago with over 300 trains arriving and departing daily
Union Station is one of the last major American stations. When you enter the Great Hall, you are immediately drawn to the large glass roof that illuminates the immense Beaux-Arts style room and its large Corinthian columns. The station was built in 1925 to replace the old station of 1881. Today, more than three hundred trains arrive and leave every day. If you saw the film The Untouchables, you probably remember the scene, shot here, of the pram running down the steps of a long marble staircase one by one.

L'extérieur est en harmonie avec l'architecture de Chicago.
Ne pas hésiter à aller boire un café à défaut de prendre le train.
