This museum is housed in one of the beautiful historical residences facing Lake Michigan, which belonged to a socialite of high society in Chicago. On four levels, it returns, through a host of objects, scientific specimens but also works of art, to the development and progress in the surgical sciences. You will see ancestral skulls from Peru as well as medical instruments with a barbaric look or superb paintings by masters.
