National Register of Historic Places house with guided tours for an interesting discovery
Built in 1886, the Glessner House was designed by the influential architect Henry Hobson Richardson for businessman John Jacob Glessner. Today, the house is one of the last remaining examples of the architect's work and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since the 1970s. Tours last approximately 75 minutes and begin at the Visitor Center. Most of the rooms have been restored to their original appearance. A discovery that will appeal to the most discerning architectural enthusiast.
