CHICAGO WATER TOWER
Tower like a mini European castle with a small shaded and landscaped park around, hosting photo exhibitions
The Water Tower is one of the few buildings that, like the Pumping Station, survived the Great Fire of 1871. It looks more like a 13th-century European mini-castle than a water tower and today hosts photo exhibitions. Around the tower, a small shady park has been laid out. Photographers should note: if you stand between the first two chairs on the left as you exit the tower, you can take a picture of the Water Tower, the Hancock Center and the tower of Water Tower Place, one of the largest stores in the Magnificent Mile.
