MADER’S
Milwaukee's best-known German restaurant, founded in 1902. In those days, a lunch was only worth 4 cents! It is housed in a building that looks like a German castle with its beautiful tower overlooking the street. Its rather charged Baroque decoration is a perfect example of the German influence in this part of West Town, which has remained intact despite the restructuring of a large part of the district. Numerous local specialities, served in a very picturesque and pleasant setting. Special mention for their very popular pork shank.
