This hotel has long been the haunt of touring artists and artists-in-residence who come to Milwaukee for extended periods. Designed in the style of the 1920s, the 81 rooms (including 4 suites) are spacious and very comfortable, and all feature fully-equipped kitchens. Service is professional and attentive. Its location, in the heart of the Lower East Side, is also a big plus. The Milwaukee Museum of Contemporary Art is just a few steps from the hotel. Last but not least, the restaurant, with its 50s-style diner, is well worth a visit! A very nice address.
