This State Park is located 5 miles from Sturgeon Bay, on the peninsula's west coast. Founded in 1928, it is named after the Potawatomi Indian tribe that occupied the area. The park is home to several hiking trails, including the Ice Age Trail, which crosses all of Wisconsin from east to west and ends here. Water sports, particularly canoeing, are popular in the park, which is bordered by Green Bay. There are 123 camping spaces, including 25 with electricity. Reservations can be made online.
