Inside the Door County Library is a small local museum with permanent exhibits of Wisconsin artists and temporary exhibitions of local artists. Paintings and photographs can be admired. One collection highlights the work of Gerhard Miller, arguably the most influential artist in the Door County area, who passed away in 2003. The museum paid tribute to him by borrowing his name. The Miller Art Museum is not an obligatory stopover during a stay in the region, but it allows you to immerse yourself in the local culture.
