PENINSULA STATE PARK
Located on the west shore of the Door County Peninsula, Peninsula State Park is the largest park in the county and one of the largest in Wisconsin. It is home to miles of trails (for walking, biking or snowshoeing in snowy conditions) and offers stunning views of Lake Michigan. Bicycles can be rented at the south entrance of the park. In winter, four circuits are dedicated to cross-country skiing and 17 miles of snowmobile trails. To get there, you have to go to the centre of Fish Creek; the entrance is on the main street.
