The good thing about this park is that it's so big that you can feel lonely! The ride to Europe Lake is very pleasant. As you walk towards the beach, you will notice a series of bumps and hollows parallel to the shoreline. These are the marks left by the lake and the action of the waves as the water level dropped. In the United States, few people venture far from their cars, beaches or other easily accessible places. Keep this in mind when you arrive at a site, it helps.
