This luxurious hotel has the advantage of being both in the heart of downtown Madison and on the shores of Lake Mendota. Opened in 1948, throughout its history it has welcomed international stars such as Bob Marley and Elvis Presley. Elton John even gave a private concert there! The Edgewater reopened at the end of 2014 after a long renovation. The decoration is now quite modern and fits well into this vast building with its imposing common rooms. All rooms are luxurious and some offer beautiful views of the lake.
