Since 1972, every Wednesday and Saturday morning, dozens of merchants display their wares on stalls around the Capitole. Musicians play in the surrounding streets, artists showcase their work, and the interior of the Capitol hosts civic activities. This market, which has become a Madison institution, was voted the most beautiful open-air market in the United States. If you're in the area, it's well worth a visit.
