LA PETITE FOLIE
Superb guesthouse with dream rooms opening onto the garden at No. 42 on the street.
Behind this delicious name lies a superb guest house and sumptuous apartments. Penny (and her accent so New York!) helped by Erwan (he has rather the accent so Breton!), have succeeded, with a certain know-how, to place the dwellings among the most charming of the commune. How can you resist the charm of the place? First, there is the main house which was first theirs, their love at first sight built around 1830 (without an elevator, of course). It offers 5 dream rooms (we really liked the second one with its bathtub), open onto the garden. Garden where is installed a pretty Moorish-style pavilion from the late 19th century where you can have tea and well named "La Petite Folie". Then there is the half-timbered 14th-century secondary house, which houses two apartments. Located at 42 de la rue, it is one of the oldest in Honfleur. And finally, at number 94, there are the other apartments in the former property of the painter Paul-Elie Gernez. In the morning, happiness is breakfast shared with the neighbours of a day, holidaymakers from all horizons and all countries. But it’s up to you. We are here, in the heart of Honfleur, between Eric Satie and Alphonse Allais. The best thing is to invite you to discover this little gem. You are not about to leave the premises except, alas... budget constraints!
