One of the secrets to eating well and cheaply in the United States is to bet on ethnic restaurants. This Subway-style Jamaican restaurant is a real treat. For the past 10 years on Eat Street, Pimento has been serving complete, balanced dishes in trays: chicken, rice, banana, plantain and more. All spiced up with delicious sauces. Sensitive souls, beware of the spiciness! On weekends, the Pimento bar takes over until late.
