MILL CITY MUSEUM
Museum with an interactive exhibition that traces the history of the mill and the production of starch.
This museum, mainly dedicated to children, was originally an old flour mill. It begins with a film that retraces the birth of the city on the banks of the Mississippi. The exhibition is quite interactive and retraces the history of the mill and the production of starch. Another part of the museum will take you up in a grain elevator. You will be shown the different processes of wheat and corn processing from the farm to the mill. A short visit to the ninth floor will allow you to enjoy the view of the Mississippi River.
