ALEXANDER RAMSEY HOUSE
In this Victorian home of the first governor, visitors are greeted by guides in period costume
This is the Victorian home of the first governor. Members of the Ramsey family lived here for more than ninety years and were the sole owners, which has kept it intact. The furniture was also well preserved, with 90% of the furnishings on display coming from the original house. Visitors are greeted by guides in period costumes and retrace the customs and habits of this period, particularly those of the family. For the holidays, the cook offers visitors freshly baked cookies.
