ALPINE INN
Alpine Inn is the restaurant you leave on your left when you climb to the top of Grandad's Bluff. To access it, take Main Street towards the east and mount up to the heights above the Mississippi valley. Main Street turns into Bliss Road after the first turn. You will see the Alpine Inn appear in front of you, after some tight turns. The summer is frequented by families, students, all walkers who go to Grandad's Bluff. Despite its name, don't expect small fondue or tartiflette dishes. These are burgers or sandwiches served either indoors or on the terrace overlooking a small valley. The view does not go up to the Mississippi Valley, the orientation of the Inn being a little backward, but Grandad's Bluff is not far away, a quarter of a walk or a two minute drive. Billiard tables are available in the room, as well as two volleyball fields below the terrace. In the summer, music groups play almost every weekend.
