You know when you're going to walk into the Bodega Brew Pub, but you never know when you're going to walk out. At the Bodega, a beer bar above all, they start by putting a novel in your hands, which they call a menu, and then begin the long reading at the end of which you will end up choosing between a Pale Ale or a Lager. The bar is also long and always full of elbows that rise up. One can also sit at the high tables, next to the windows which give on 4th Street. Very lively, Bodega is one of the bars in La Crosse that is worth a visit.
