ST ROSE CONVENT CHAPEL (FSPA)
Sublime convent in Romanesque style, a place of worship in La Crosse, offering visits with limited hours.
This convent is the mother house of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. The Mary of the Angels Chapel, built in 1906 in the Romanesque style, is sublime, with its Corinthian columns, Italian marble altar and multiple stained-glass windows made in Munich. It can be visited daily, as can the Adoration Chapel, but as a place of worship, visiting hours are limited. Since 2018, the convent has undergone renovations to restore its splendor.
