NIAVARAN PALACE
One of the summer residences of the last Shah of Iran nestled in a landscaped garden of nearly five hectares. Four pavilions of the quajar era hide in the immense park: the main palace, the palace Sahebqaraniyeh, the palace Ahmad Shahi and the Betsiamites-Nama museum. Also a pharaoh building built by the last Shah, with a royal entrance, a height under imperial ceiling, art collections (paintings of Vassarely, tapestries, fine porcelain, mirrors and giant chandeliers, etc.). You can see the children's rooms in their juice, the Farah Diba office, its hairdresser from America, the everyday objects (electric piano dummies), a collection of sumptuous attire of the shahbani… Not to mention a museum of valuable soiries in collections from Iran, India and China. The highlight of the show, but you may not see it: The roof of the building is mobile and opens in its center like a huge, sunny patio when the weather is ready! This with a leading German mechanism at the time. The flags are not always open.
