The archaeological site, occupied from the th millennium BC, sheltered significant excavations. In particular, researchers found elements of the scythians, parathians, Greek and Persian cultures. See, in particular, the large quantity of pottery and ceramic, stone and bone utensils. Nevertheless, most of the pieces have been transferred to different museums, including the Archaeological Museum of Tehran and the Louvre in Paris. On the two very eroded hills, the route of some houses is still apparent.
