FRIDAY MOSQUE
Go there and contact
The site houses a burial complex with various buildings refurbished over the centuries. Focus on the mosque at four iwans built in 1308, the oldest part of the ensemble. See the decoration of the seventeenth century and the minaret of 1325. The portal of the Khaneqah (or dervishe house) destroyed, date for 1316. Admire the blue-dominated ceramics. The main hall of the mosque is reached by a staircase of twelve steps leading to an inner courtyard. The mihrab room is shifted from the axis of the south iwan. The mausoleum of the dervishe Abd al-Samad Isfahani, the disciple of the great Abu Said sufi died in 1049, is the staircase.
