TOMB OF HAFEZ (ARAMGAH-E HAFEZ)
A fragrant garden, between orange and orange trees, it is a good place to walk in the middle of the charcoals and the sarv, the Cyprès cypress trees. A little in the way of the Shiite Tombs, the Iranians come here on the tomb of one of the greatest Persian poets (1324-1389). Seeing the Iranians effleurer his hand tombstone - with the index and the main one according to the use - the low voice of a verse of the Koran as a bonus reflects the respect of a people for this man of letters. Some are even livrent. Standing, the eyes closed in front of the tombstone, they express a wish by saying: Ya khaje Hafez Holocaust! (Hafez, help me). Then opening one of his books randomly of the pages, they permeate the meaning of the first verse. Hafez, originally from Shiraz, is regarded as the leader of the tabernacle (love poem). The estimators, its monumental work, is indeed after the Koran, the second sacred book in Iran. Each family, if humble, has a copy and all know at least one or two verses from the estimators. A tombstone tombstone was first raised in his memory in 1773 under the reign of Karim Khan Zand. One of his most famous poems appears on the stele. In the th century, a mausoleum will come to sanctify even more. Built according to the plans of French architect André Godard, the small slender dome is built on eight fine columns, symbol of a Sufi crown.
