Eram's delicious botanical garden (literally «Jardin du Paradis»), the groves of roses and églantines lined with orange trees, majestic palm trees and high cypress trees, remains one of the finest and most popular in Shiraz. Name of trees and flowers in English. Dominant-e Eram is a former qadjar pavilion of the th century, built under the reign of Mohammad Goli Khan Ilkahni. See the white facade with its tiles inspired by animals. The high ceiling on the terrace is fortified with mosaics based on éclats. At the time of the last Shah of Iran, the palace housed the Pahlavis during their passage to Shiraz. The doorway of Khomeini is now close to the entrance. Close to the university, students benefit from the places during the intercours. Coming preferably early in the morning, soft and sublime light glide under secular cypress trees before gently illuminating water from the basins.
