The harbour has an end of the world, a little like its neighbour Carentan, in the morning at dawn, when the haze still envelops the roofs of the sleeping city. The romantic people like to dwell on the bridge, from where they see the small pleasure craft lined up that wait only for the signal of departure to brave the currents, where the freshwater of the river Aurs meets the saltwater. A lovely walk to the iodised wind, among the seabirds that flutter and the decor of marshes.
