GREEK SPANK
This ship built in Scotland during the Second World War and armed in Greece ran aground on July 25, 1966 on the southwest shore of Kich. It has since been offered to the fury of the waves and is now nothing more than a gigantic pile of rust whose hull was finally broken by a storm in early 2018. Nevertheless, its orange silhouette languid in the waves has remained an essential walking destination for all visitors to the island who come to enjoy a few romantic moments at sunset. Very photogenic, the ship that has never been refloated may well be consolidated in the future to see it become part of the landscape.
