Church built like a French cathedral, with a beautiful Baroque organ and astronomical clock inside.
Begun in the 13th century, work lasted until 1398, when the almost-finished edifice collapsed. It was rebuilt on the model of French Gothic cathedrals. It is considered one of the largest red-brick buildings in Northern Europe. It was restored after the Second World War and its bombardments. Inside, you'll find fine Baroque organs and a superb astronomical clock dating from 1472.

Rostock est une assez petite ville donc ne pas hesiter à visiter cette eglise interessante car l´interieur est vraiment beau.

Edifice surprenant un peu caché dans le centre ville mais à visiter absolument : A découvrir surtout ses orgues baroques, ses gradins en forme de théâtre royale et une incroyable horloge tournant au rythme des signes astrologiques. Belle visite !
