A stylish and outdated tea salon under the roof of the beautiful Schinkelwache, the old town's guard, built in 1830 by the famous Berlin architect Friedrich Schinkel. Generous cream cakes and sugar icing are mostly home-made. Don't overlook the Dresdner Christstollen at Christmas… and taste their exquisite Apfelstrudel with its vanilla ice ball in all seasons. Good coffee specialities and cosy atmosphere, to warm up after a windy stroll along the Elbe. The hotel is also a restaurant.
