Composer Jean-Sébastien Bach would have liked to live in Dresden, but this dream has never been realized. As a consolation, Neue Bachgesellschaft, an association dedicated to Bach's memory, to the preservation and dissemination of his works, gave him a festival in the Saxon capital. The numerous churches of the city, such as the Frauenkirche, the Kreuzkirche or the Dreikönigskirche, lend themselves beautifully to these majestic concerts. Conferences are also organized.
