This dazzling dairy, which claims to be the most beautiful of its kind in the world, is constantly visited by both locals and tourists, all attracted by the beauty of the area. Pfunds Molkerei is one of the oldest shops in the city. In 1879, a young farmer named Paul Gustav Leander Pfund, realizing the lack of dairy products in Dresden, led his cows there to found a dairy in the Neustadt. Committed to the quality and freshness of its products, Pfund met with great success in the newly industrialized city to which it would soon supply Germany's first condensed milk, but also milk soaps and baby food. Soon, the small dairy became a success. In 1891, Pfund expanded by having this store converted into an opulent neo-Renaissance style.
