The Dresden Congress Centre was inaugurated in 2004, a few metres from the Saxon Parliament. Designed by the architectural firm Storch Ehlers Partner, the curves of its design harmoniously mimic the course of the river it borders. From its terrace, accessible to everyone at all times, the view of the old town, the Japanese Palace, the former Yenidze cigarette factory and the Ostragehege creation and exhibition centre is stunning.
