LA GROTTA
Some may find the place too much, but it must be recognized that the stalactites, fountains and Italian folk music immediately create a unique atmosphere. Whether or not you like this exaggerated setting, the sound of mandolins and kitsch romanticism, this is in any case a place to go out that stands out in the old city; it is one of the most famous Italian restaurants in Leipzig. Its dishes are as good as in the country... There are the inevitable bruschette and other appetizers. Then comes the time for pasta and pizzas cooked in pure tradition, over a wood fire. There are also meats, such as veal steak with rosemary potatoes, panna cotta, tiramisus and other delicacies at the end of the meal.
