OPER LEIPZIG - OPÉRA DE LEIPZIG
The Leipzig Opera House is renowned for its dynamic and offers many productions every year, both in terms of classical operas, ballets and musicals. Its origin dates back to the end of the 17th century. At the time, it was the third musical theatre in Europe after Venice and Hamburg. In recent years, under the impetus of its director general Ulf Schirmer, the Opera has invested a lot in the interpretation of the works of the city's child, Richard Wagner, but also those of Richard Strauss, who remained famous for his Capriccio, written in 1942. The prices of the performances are rather attractive (compared to France in particular), so why not take the opportunity to book your place on the floor, on the balcony or in a dressing room?
