SIMONE THOMALLA (1965)
Go there and contact
Meeting with a multi-talented artist. Born in 1965 in Leipzig, Simone Thomalla has a triple career. An actress, singer and writer, she made her debut as an actress in the late 1980s, with roles in In einem Atem, Zwei schräge Vögel and then in Klaus Gendries' Immense. The following decade, she made the headlines in the musical Abenteuer, then appeared in Das Phantom, die Jagd nach Dagobert (Dagobert's Hunt) by Roland Suso Richter. Over the past ten years, Simone Thomalla has been best known for her role as curator of Tatort in Leipzig. A hand-sewn character for the one who knows the streets of the Saxon metropolis by heart. At the same time, she has been in front of the camera almost every year since 2000, for different directors: in Michael Rowitz's L'Amour rend sexy (Liebe macht sexy) for example, and then in a remake of Les Contes de Grimm in 2009. She also toured in Closer than Blood in 2010, or in Lutz Konermann's Cent printemps (Hundertmal Frühling), released in 2016.
