MARATHON DE LEIPZIG

The marathon is one of Leipzig's most important sporting events. It takes place every year in mid-April. It is organised by the local energy distribution company Leipziger Stadtwerke. The races are divided into different events. There is of course the marathon but also the half-marathon. There are also 4 or 10 km courses (to be run or walked), a race reserved for children, as well as a competition for rollerblading enthusiasts. A great celebration of sport in a way, always very well attended by the spectators gathered along the routes.
