INSTITUT FRANCAIS DE LEIPZIG

The French Institute, which is part of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, is the only institution representing France in Leipzig. It is very active in the field of French cultural promotion and offers French courses adapted to all audiences by setting up various workshops for Leipzig residents. He also organizes sales of French-language books and participates in numerous local events, including the Fête de la musique and the Nuit du polar entitled "Krimi à la française". This event takes place every year in March over several days and is the subject of a citywide survey. This takes the form of a rally, meetings and signing sessions with authors.
