LINDENAUER MARKT
The Lindenau district, which borders Plagwitz to the north, often goes unnoticed because it does not know, or only on its margins, the Bobo conversion of its neighbour. Lindenau thus remains more popular, with buildings that are generally ageing, but also some buildings that have undergone a life-saving renovation in recent years. This small district, with only 40,000 inhabitants, functions a little like a village, especially in its eastern part. He thus revolves part of his daily life around his market square, the emblematic Lindenauer Markt, a living agora, surrounded by numerous shops and a theatre in particular. This place of passage, located ten minutes by tram from the central station, stands out for its relative architectural unity. It also hosts a pleasant market, known to all, on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 4pm.
