GOETHE'S HOUSE
Museum housing numerous works of art from the personal collection of the poet and writer Goethe.
You will visit the places where the icon, the emblem of Germany, Goethe, lived, worked, researched and wrote his major work: Faust. He occupied this house from 1782 until his death on 22 March 1832. The pieces, which remained more or less intact, contain many works of art from his personal collection. This poet and writer had encyclopedic knowledge. This man of letters was passionate about Greek and Roman art, and the natural sciences. Several pieces are dedicated to his works. A "must", a must-see visit
