LUTHER'S HOUSE IN EISENACH
Beautiful half-timbered house recounting the Reformer's childhood and youth.
Housed in a beautiful half-timbered house on the market square (the town's oldest), where Luther lived when he studied Latin in Eisenach from 1498 to 1501, the Lutherhaus retraces the reformer's childhood and youth, but the exhibition is admittedly less rich and in-depth than the one devoted to Bach. A visit to the Lutherhaus, however, is a very interesting way of understanding the personal journey of this reformer who was so important in world history.
