German cuisine served in a small brick house under a railway bridge. A unique setting.
A must in Hamburg! Oberhafen Kantine is a very famous address, wedged between the railway and the canal since 1925. It's a unique place, a small house under a railway bridge, wobbly, with slightly tilted floors and tables, which is worth a visit just for its setting. One of our favourites! The food is good and the service is amazing and very attentive: choose the plate of German specialities or else turn to the dumplings or the Labskaus which are just as typical and copious. Be sure to bring some cash!
