Piri Piri is an excellent Portuguese restaurant in the Schanzenviertel, famous for its fish dishes and tasty peticos.
Bem vindos in the best Portuguese restaurant in town! The azulejos on the wall and the bossa nova in the background set the scene. As for the gastronomy, the menu honors the dishes of the sea: the lulas grehadas, for example, are a salad with octopus perfectly seasoned that we will accompany with a wine of Alentejo. There is also a wide selection of peticos, which are dishes served in small quantities, convenient for tasting different specialties! The strawberry and chestnut cream dessert is absolutely delicious.

The reason I am posting this as a (temporary) 1 star review, is the fact that we were billed incorrectly.
When we were ready to pay we weren't actually shown the bill, but just told what the price was - and since it seemed high, but not completely out of what was expected we paid what was asked (+tip).
Luckily one of us did actually ask to take a picture of the receipt, which we only ended up looking at back home.
To our surprise our bill had been combined with some other table leading to us having paid more than 30€ on top of our actual bill.
Upon contacting the restaurant we were told that this would most definitely get reimbursed and to send over our details on Whatsapp.
After a short exchange it seemed to be settled, but now here we are 2.5 weeks later with no actual reimbursement, and getting ghosted.
To anyone at PiriPiri reading this: we are still waiting for an answer/reimbursement - how can this take a month to process? Please get back to us.
