The Ahrberg restaurant is a traditional fish restaurant in the Treppenviertel in Blankenese, serving herring in all its forms and typical North Sea dishes. Also on the menu: Vierländer Ente, Hamburg breaded fish, Labskaus. We won't go back and forth to eat there but if you walk in the district of Blankenese, the Ahrberg is a good option to eat without ruining yourself among the very chic addresses of this upmarket district. In summer, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the Elbe and its cargo ships.

Daß das Restaurant 100 Jahre alt ist merkt man vor allem an den katastrophalen Sanitäranlagen. Wozu muss dort eine Metallstütze stehen und an der Decke Wasserflecken mit Ablösungen sein. Sorry, da gehen wir nie wieder hin, gibt etliche bessere Restaurants. Naja, wenn der Laden an Ostern leer ist sagt das schon vieles.
Ist natürlich deren gutes Recht, aber menschlich sehr enttäuschend.
