A vegan and vegetarian restaurant in operation in Eppendorf since 1976.

Established in Eppendorf since 1976, this restaurant is a real institution for all vegetarians in Hamburg. It looks like an elegant Indian restaurant, but the menu features mixed European and Asian cuisine: chard rolls, oyster mushrooms, celery sticks and tofu marinated in sake with wild rice, marzipan pancakes flambéed with Grand Marnier... True vegetarian and vegan cuisine, inventive, healthy and delicious, cooked according to the principles of Ayurvedic medicine and macrobiotics.

During a flying visit to Hamburg, had lunch in Tassajara. The food was seriously delicious! Can’t recommend it enough to those who love vegetarian food. I had starters from the buffet menu and an exquisite mushroom and pumpkin risotto. The atmosphere of the place is very cosy and friendly. The young lady is very kind and polite. Well done!

Hier kann man in angenehmer Atmosphäre unfassbar gut essen. Alles was wir bestellt haben, war kreativ und mit Liebe selbst gemacht. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Für mich definitiv eines der Top 3 vegetarischen Restaurants in Hamburg, wenn nicht sogar das beste Restaurant.
