One of the oldest breweries in the city: German cuisine and flowing beer.
A gigantic brewery in the old town, near the Speicherstadt. Traditional German decor and good humor in this cellar where the beer flows freely and the simple and efficient dishes are hearty and delicious. The Gröninger Privatbrauerei is one of the oldest breweries in Hamburg. Since 1793, a traditional beer has been brewed here according to the recipes of the past: unfiltered and naturally cloudy. The hops come from the Hallertau near Munich, the malt from a malting plant in Bamberg, the water from the Lüneburg Heath.

Really awesome atmosphere????
Beef burger wasn't so good as expected ????
Bedienung (hat auch fünf Euro Trinkgeld bekommen)
Bier (Alsterwasser orange und das Fassbier beides sehr gut)
Atmosphärisch sehr gut, auch die Kellereinrichtung.
Man kann sich ein zehn Liter Fass kaufen, das auf einem Hocker am Tisch angeschlagen wird.
Contra:
Preise ab 1/2024. Sorry, ihr preist Euch aus dem Markt. 10 Euro für 200 Gramm Leberkäse. 22 Euro für einen Burger mit acht Kartoffelspalten - Hunger ist vorprogrammiert. 0,4 Liter Bier bei 5,60 Euro. Nicht jeder in Hamburg verdient 60.000 Euro pro Jahr brutto. Bietet auch was für den kleinen Geldbeutel.
Kein Handyempfang, auch kein WLAN, keine Stromstecker um Handy zu laden.
Bei der Toilette wird auch nochmal die Hand aufgehalten (auch für zahlende Gäste).
