Chef Thomas Martin comes from Mannheim but trained in France, an influence that can be seen in his menu, which combines seafood specialties with light meats. At the helm of the restaurant of the luxury hotel Louis C. Jacob's restaurant since 1997, he serves subtle flavors in an absolutely enchanting setting on the banks of the Elbe. The restaurant is decorated with the same sober refinement and attention to detail as the hotel, and the service is fully worthy of the two stars awarded to one of Hamburg's best restaurants.
