An apartment in a floating house. In the city, but away from the human agitation.
Sleeping on water in Hamburg? The architect Daniel Wickersheim designed this hyper modern and ecological floating house, taking care to optimize the energy consumption of the place. In an office district without much charm but away from the noise and human agitation, we share the canal with a few ducks and rare small boats passing by. Placed on a floating concrete slab, this house, suspended between dream and reality, is much more stable than a habitable barge, so there is almost no rocking: no seasickness on the horizon.
