A 3 star hotel, located on the banks of the Alster with rooms that have a beautiful view of the lake.
A very pleasant 3-star luxury hotel, ideally located on the affluent bank of the Alster, in a beautiful Jugendstil building that has retained the old-fashioned charm of the Hanseatic mansions. The hotel's best rooms offer a view of the Alster. All rooms are very comfortable and impeccably kept. Their modern and tasteful decoration and general comfort make them a very cosy place to stay with excellent service. The hotel's restaurant serves regional specialties, fish and seafood.

Be aware there is no phone , no fridge, no shampoo , no iron in this hotel !! so , if you need something then you need to go to reception and ask for it .. if you are lucky enough maybe you’ll get it in next few hours!!!
I went to train station all the way to buy shampoo.
The cleaning service is really poorly and the worse part of it , they tidied up our rooms only once in a week we stayed there !!
I asked for clean towels several times !!!
The bedsheets did not get changed for a week and we had the same ones !!
Breakfast was just ok , but coffee machine did not work , so you have to ask for tea or coffe ..
Overall I do not recommend this hotel at all .

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Hamburg. Ein sehr schönes Hotel, mit sehr guten Verbindung zum Bahnhof und in die Stadt. Der Service war super und das Frühstück klasse. Es gab alles, was man braucht. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder wählen.

Die Lage ist super, eigentlich alles da, Parkplatz etc. Zimmer sind sauber, nun sehr klein.

Wir waren im Sommer für 2 Nächte im Hotel. Die Lage ist unschlagbar direkt an der Alster. Wir hatten Glück und hatten einen Tiefgaragenparkplatz bekommen, aber die Einfahrt ist schon ziemlich abenteuerlich, da sehr eng.
Unsere Zimmer waren sauber, aber man merkt, dass das Hotel nicht mehr das Jüngste ist. Leider hatten wir das Zimmer genau über der Raucherecke und natürlich den ganzen Qualm im Zimmer, was mit Kindern nicht so toll ist. Da sollte ggf ein anderes Plätzchen für die Raucher gefunden werden.
Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen und man konnte gut in den Tag starten.
Für die Kinder gab es ein Pixibuch auf dem Bett.
