Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich, das Zimmer war gemütlich. Der Preis erscheint jedoch relativ hoch, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass das Badezimmer geteilt werden muss. Wir waren zudem über das Wochenende dort, und man konnte die Nachbarn deutlich feiern hören.
Schönes, gemütliches, familiäres Hotel im Schanzenviertel. Tolle Lage, mit der U-Bahn kommt man schnell überall hin. Faire Preise für HH, beim Frühstück wird auf die Wünsche eingegangen. Ich war dort für eine Woche mit meinem Sohn. Wir hatten das etwas größere DZ mit gemeinschaftlicher Nutzung des Badezimmers. Was mir zuvor etwas Sorge bereitet hat. War aber immer blitzblank und hat gut geklappt. Danke, es war ein schöner Aufenthalt.
Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer mit Einzelbelegung im OG gebucht und wurde ohne vorherige Absprache in ein ungemütliches Einzelzimmer mit kleinem Einzelbett im Souterrain eingecheckt. Zu meiner Überraschung sollte ich dann beim Check-Out jedoch den teureren Preis für das Doppelzimmer zahlen… Sehr irritierend- kann ich nur von abraten!
We believed we had booked a room with an attached bathroom, but when we arrived to the hotel, we discovered our room shared the bathroom with another. Upon review of our email exchange, it appears the owner, Kathrin, made an honest mistake: in English, she had written the room had a bathroom "with one another room". We had understood this to mean the bathroom was in another room, but it was meant to indicate the bathroom was *shared* with another room.
We called for information, which is when our problems started. Kathrin very rudely informed us that she had no other rooms available and we must pay the full amount of our booking, despite this mixup. We never met her, nor stayed in the hotel in the end, and she simply charged our card. When we called her again to try and clear up the situation, she once again rudely yelled at us, claiming that because no one else had misunderstood her in 18 years we must be in the wrong.
I understand honest mix ups, and we would have been willing to pay in part or in full, but treating your customers rudely, as idiots who cannot understand their mother tongue, when you made a mistake, is totally unacceptable, unprofessional, and simply unkind.
Take your money and pride elsewhere, and stay away from Schlaflounge.
