Iconic electro and techno club of the city.

A legend of Hamburg's electro night, the Golden Pudel Club (literally "golden poodle club") or more simply "Pudel", for those in the know, has been saved from the flames. The fragile wooden cottage on the banks of the Elbe River was nearly burned to the ground in February 2016, during a possibly arson attack that moved lovers of techno and Hamburg nightlife. The Pudel is the underground soul of the Sankt-Pauli music scene, whose fame has spread beyond Hamburg's borders. A mecca for alternative culture.
