A famous jazz club in Hamburg.
For more than thirty years, Heidi and Dieter Reichert have welcomed the best of the Hamburg jazz scene and musicians from all over Europe to their concert cellar. Brad Mehldau, Chet Baker and Diana Krall are just a few of the many prestigious musicians and singers who have performed on this small cult stage. The famous jazzclub was able to reopen in 2014, under new ownership, including the son of the founders. Birdland continues to maintain a high musical level.
